We are MothTek, a small scale design and production firm with a focus on open source and sustainable hardware,
and a dedication to weird and obscure things! We have a passion for Chinese domestic products created in the
wake of US sanctions, and we intend to deliver low cost boards using these domestic chips :)

What we do?:

We produce high quality PCB designs for a range of use cases. We at MothTek are huge enjoyers of weird and
wonderful hardware, especially domestic Chinese silicon, and we aim to serve niche offerings for anyone who
is interested in the "hidden world" of Chinese semiconductors. We pride ourselves on keeping our boards low-cost
and accessible to all.

We are experienced with industry standard tools, such as Altium Designer and Kicad, and are familiar working with
and implementing a range of technologies, including PCIe 4.0+, BGA ICs, DDR3/4, multilayer boards, RF signaling,
and more! We also really love turning off DRC.

Additionally, we provide low-cost, low-scale prototype design and production services. Utilizing a range of
technologies (above), we can work with you on whatever you might need. Let us know if you have an idea for a
weird TB3 dock, or a strange RP2040 board, or anything else!

We hope you enjoy the weird things we, and many others, have helped create!

Who are we, and why?:

Hi, I'm moth! I'm based out of Naarm/Melbourne, and I am one of the founders of MothTek.
I have a passion for weird and odd hardware, and a large part of that is creating the weird hardware that I want
to see in the world. I have a huge interest in the world of Chinese domestic processors, and spend most a lot of
my free time working with various machines from Phytium and others. I maintain an obscure hardware wiki that contains
a lot of information on hardware from Phytium, Huawei, Loongsun etc.
I also really, really like moths :3
